Jerry is a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities area. After finishing high school he went to work at Kingsport Press (Quebecor World) and attended East Tennessee State University during the evening. During this time Jerry took leave from his job and college and served in the United States Marine Corps. After nearly forty years in a successful career at Quebecor World, he retired as Manager of Prepress & Printing Operations.
After a short time, Jerry decided he was not ready to retire and chose Real Estate as a second career.
After nearly eleven years as a Realtor, he continues to enjoy the business and the people he is involved with every day. He has learned so much during his time in real estate both in school and from the experience he has gained assisting people in buying or selling homes. He takes satisfaction in assisting them in making the best deals. Jerry continues to take advantage of the education offered by real estate trade groups. This allows him to keep up with this every changing business.
He is a member of National Association of Realtors, North East Tennessee Association of Realtors and MLS (Multiple Listing Service).
Jerry takes pride in being knowledgeable and being a calming force in the sometime stressful job of buying or selling a home. He considers it an honor to work for his clients in an honest and respectful manner.
Over the years, I have very much enjoyed riding and racing dirt bikes, hunting and playing golf. Most of my time now is spent working on my home and grounds. I enjoy doing things around the house more now that I work in Real Estate. I have a four wheel drive tractor with attachments that I enjoy much like someone else might enjoy their Harley. I have a ten year old granddaughter who I cherish and spend as much time as possible with her even though she lives in Alabama.
